Smart Installation is a vehicle accessory installation company based in Leicestershire. We supply and fit a range of products for all types of vehicles. We specialise in Dash Cams, vehicle security, GPS tracking, parking aids, tow bars and much more.

Smart Installation was established in 2003. Customer service is our priority as we continue to grow as a business. We have maintained a great working relationship with many different types of customers. From vehicle main dealers, local councils, large companies with huge fleet vehicles and also independent small business owners.

The technological advancement within the motor industry continues to change year on year and our vast knowledge within the trade has helped us stay at the forefront of the services we offer.

We take great pride in making sure every job is carried out from start to finish to the highest standard and have always followed these installation processes listed below.

First and foremost, WE WILL NOT RUSH WORK THAT IS CARRIED OUT, no exceptions. Too many of our competitors prioritise profit and quantity of work over quality. We like to treat every vehicle we work on as our own.
All wiring and connections that are made are done correctly. We make solid connections using solder and never use scotch locks.
We use high quality cloth tape to give a factory fitted appearance and hide all wiring correctly and securely.
Wires are not just poked behind rubber door trims on A pillars like many installers do. Panels are removed and refitted correctly. On the rare occasion that any clips break (unavoidable, even by main dealer) they are replaced to ensure no rattles are heard.
We would NEVER, EVER feed wires across airbags. Unfortunately, we see this each week when removing equipment fitted by other installers!
Care is always taken and trim is removed the correct way.
We clean up after ourselves and give a full demonstration to the customer on completion.
Any questions the customer may have will be answered to the best of our knowledge before we leave the site.

'I used Matt for a difficult job which involved installing a reversing camera into my new VW T6 camper van. As the van had already been fully converted, it was a difficult task based on the interior of the camper van. At the same time, Matt installed the latest security system and also a brand new Alpine floating headunit to replace the VW system.
